This is a private briefing, prepared for investment and finance leaders by invitation.
Optint is operated in Australia and New Zealand by Next Technologies Asia-Pacific Pty. Ltd. (ABN 31 126 999 022) ("NextTech", "we", "us"). The Optint platform is owned and operated by LifeGift Pte. Ltd. (Singapore), which processes data on our behalf. This statement explains what personal information we collect, why, and what your rights are. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
From website visitors and business contacts: name, business email address, company, role, and any information you send us when you request a briefing, a scan, or contact us. We do not use advertising trackers on this site.
From customers using the Optint service: finance exports your organisation chooses to send us — accounts payable, corporate card, and expense data. These files contain vendor names, transaction amounts, dates, cost centres, and payment references. They may incidentally contain limited personal information, such as an employee's name attached to a card transaction. Full card numbers are masked on arrival and never stored.
We collect information directly from you or your organisation. We do not buy personal information, and we never connect to your systems — our only input is the export you provide
To respond to enquiries and provide briefings you request.
To deliver the Optint service: finding, verifying, and reporting software and AI spend waste in the financial data your organisation provides.
To administer our agreements, billing, and support.
With your organisation's agreement under its engagement charter, to build anonymised, aggregated market benchmarks. No benchmark output can identify you, your company, or your fund, and no statistic is produced for any vendor with fewer than seven independent contributing companies.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use your data to train public AI models.
LifeGift Pte. Ltd. (Singapore), the platform operator, which processes data on our behalf under contractual obligations no less protective than this statement. This is a cross-border disclosure for the purposes of the Australian Privacy Principles; the data itself remains hosted in Australia (see below).
Microsoft Azure, our hosting provider, in the Australia East (Sydney) region.
Professional advisers, and government bodies where the law requires it.
We do not share your information with anyone else without your consent
All customer data is hosted on Microsoft Azure in Australia (Australia East region). Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Customer data is isolated at the database layer using row-level security, so one customer's data can never be reached from another customer's account. Access is limited to authorised personnel for the sole purpose of delivering the service, and every file we receive is cryptographically fingerprinted so its handling can be proven.
Customer financial data is retained for 24 months on a rolling basis, which is what allows year-over-year verification of savings. When an engagement ends, data is deleted within 30 days and the deletion is certified in writing. The only exceptions are records we are legally required to keep, and the anonymised aggregates described above, which cannot identify anyone. Business contact details are kept while we have an ongoing relationship or a legitimate reason to hold them, and deleted on request.
If you request a scan, we ask for a verified business email address and contact details before providing it. We state the data terms plainly at the point of upload: your raw file is deleted after the scan, and anonymised, aggregated patterns from it may be retained to improve our market benchmarking, never tied to your company. Accepting those terms is a condition of the free scan. We may contact you about your results.
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Contact us at team@optint.ai. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
